GREAT FALLS, VA August 15, 2007 – Utterly Yours™™ showcased
its two-time award-winning product – the Utterly Yours™
Breast Pillow – at the 50th Anniversary La Leche League
International conference where world-recognized experts on
breastfeeding, childbirth and parenting gathered at the Hilton
Chicago from July 20 - 23, 2007. The product was well-received
by the breastfeeding educators and health care providers
that came in from all different parts of the world. One of
the presenters – Kay Hoover, MEd, IBCLC, RLC, LLL Leader
and co-author of The Breastfeeding Atlas - educated
attendees on how to assist women in obtaining comfortable
breast positioning which can be very challenging and painful
to the wrist for larger-breasted women. In her presentation,
she showed an image of the Utterly Yours™ Breast Pillow in
use to demonstrate how the product lifts and supports the
breast; giving women freedom from having to physically hold
their breast while nursing.

Utterly Yours™ will also exhibit its product at the annual
International Lactation Consultant Association conference
in San Diego, CA from August 15 – 19, 2007 where consultants
from around the world will gather to learn about cutting-edge
lactation practices and research to equip them in giving
optimal breastfeeding care and support to mothers and babies.
In the United States, there are approximately four million
births a year. 70% of women initiate breastfeeding from the
outset. Unfortunately, of this 70% – there’s
a huge drop off with only 39% continuing beyond six months,
and only 19% continuing at a year. One of the reasons women
quit is due to a very common challenge – one that lactation
consultants have been trying to address for decades. It's
the tiresome act of women having to physically support and
adjust their breast throughout each feeding to assure that
the baby has latched on correctly and stays latched on. Providing
constant physical support for the breast throughout feedings
is not only uncomfortable, but can also cause carpel tunnel.
It’s also a reason why many women give up and switch
to bottle feeding.
